Gone but Not Forgotten, and Possible Again

For decades, Saturday night on the North Olympic Peninsula meant one thing: loading up the family and heading to the Port Angeles Speedway. It was more than just asphalt and engines — it was the heartbeat of the Clallam County automotive community. It was where kids watched their parents race, where local shops sponsored grassroots teams, and where lifelong friendships were made under the stadium lights.

When the historic speedway off Highway 101 was closed and torn down in 2011, it left a massive void in our towns. For over a decade, our local youth have had nowhere safe to go, our drivers have had to travel hours to distant tracks, and our backroads have felt the dangerous effects of illegal street racing.

That changes now. Driven by a passion to drive safely and have a legal place to drift and connect with fellow car enthusiasts — the Olympic International Motorsports Park will be a world-class destination right here on the Peninsula: a full-size car track, a go-kart circuit, and a community hub built by the very hands of the people who need it most. Through sweat equity work parties, community Eco-Block sponsorships, and a sponsor-led funding model, we're not waiting for someone else to fix this — we're building it ourselves.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, professional, and thrilling environment for drivers of all levels — from first-time go-karters to seasoned drift competitors. We're bringing everything from grassroots drifting (the fastest growing motorsport in the world right now) to family-friendly karting, all under one roof on the Olympic Peninsula.

We're building more than a track. We're building a lasting home for motorsports in the Northwest — a place where thrill, skill, and community come together on every lap, friendships grow in the pits, and people of all backgrounds find something to love about car culture.

Be Part of the History.

Every sponsorship, every volunteer hour, every share gets us closer to opening day.
